STEEL
Work built in a watercourse, in order to allow it to be crossed while ensuring the free flow of water and the free movement of aquatic fauna. Steel pipes are mainly used in rural, forestry and mining areas.
CHARACTERISTICS :
- Very high flexibility in terms of non-standard lengths up to 18m (60 ft).
- Economical solution in large diameters allowing savings in transport thanks to the optimization of the loading space.
- The pipe ends are ground to provide annular corrugations that allow the use of the sleeves for joining successive lengths on a project.
- By special order, arched pipes are also available. Thanks to their flattened shape, they allow the height of the backfill to be reduced to a minimum while conveying an additional volume of water at a low flow rate.
- Lightweight compared to conventional material.
- Bevel cut available. It increases the flow of water circulating in the culvert in the event of a thunderstorm.
