HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) - SOLFLO MAX
Work installed in a watercourse in order to allow it to be crossed while ensuring the free flow of water and the free movement of aquatic fauna. HDPE pipes are mainly used for road infrastructure works.
The choice of product depends on the specified useful life. When the sustainability of infrastructure is the predominant factor, HDPE is preferred. The length of the diameters and the hydraulic capacity (Manning coefficient “n”, diameter and slope) must also be considered.
Characteristics :
• Exceptionally long-lasting, HDPE pipes are tough, and high-performance connections eliminate the "stack effect" risks normally associated with traditional culverts that easily separate under the effect of freeze / thaw.
• Thanks to the length of the pipes, uptime and the number of joints are reduced compared to concrete pipes.
• The patented bell with integrated seal (CGI), exclusive to our supplier Soleno, ensures perfect sealing. The non-removable thermofused trim simplifies installation and, thanks to the locks, the monitoring of the work is greatly facilitated. The depth of the socket allows the gasket to overlap on two corrugations in most diameters, thus ensuring a seal.
• The diameters 1050mm (42in), 1200mm (48in) and 1500mm (60in) are supplied with an O-ring.

• WATERPROOF DUCTS
CGI hoods, with non-removable, thermofused gaskets, eliminate the problems of infiltration and exfiltration common in pipes with less performing fittings.
• RESISTANT TO CHEMICALS
The vast majority of chemicals are stored in thin-walled HDPE containers. This polymer from the polyolefin family is extremely resistant to chemicals.
• IMPACT RESISTANT
HDPE is soft, flexible and has excellent impact resistance between -30 degree and 90 degree Celcius. The product remains easy to handle in all circumstances and is less fragile than PVC or concrete.
